we're going to get sexy for a minute - the dodos: great band, or greatest band?

I am here to inform you guys of an important recent development. I LISTEN TO MUSIC THAT IS NOT THE VELVET TEEN.

have you ever wondered what would happen if the unicorns, the magnetic fields, sufjan stevens, the black keys, and beirut all had an orgy of brain sex and farted out a band? well, now you know: the dodos. of course, we know that all those bands did not actually have gay brain sex, because if they had there would be pictures of it on the internet by now. but theoretically.

here is a fairly boring video of one of their singles, called "fools." I like this video because it starts out all serious but towards the end it just devolves into sexual-face-making. ALSO, OH LAWD IS DAT SUM MOTHERFUCKING SHOES MADE OF TAMBOURINES???




and here is the adorable and fantastic unicorns-esque song, "red and purple," which I swear to god will make you dance until you are bleeding from the eyes. I know this firsthand.



here are some fun facts about the dodos:
- it's only two dudes, and they both have crazy names! the singer is meric long and the drummer is logan krobrarebrbrebals or something (I don't really remember but it is similar to that).
- the singer wears these creepy-ass acrylic nails on his right hand during live shows, for guitar-playing purposes. they are seriously gross as fuck, but he is an amazing guitar player, so I guess it sort of balances out!
- uhhh I don't really know anything else!
